Barbara Barrocas

Barbara is a licensed Acupuncture Physician, Transpersonal Life Coach and NeuroTango Practitioner. She has more than 20 years of experience in the healing arts. As a natural born healer and devoted practitioner, she intuitively combines Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutritional counseling and Transpersonal Life Coaching to guide patients back to complete health by addressing the imbalances of the mind, body and spirit. With a compassionate demeanor, Barbara takes her time with each patient and makes sure all of their questions and concerns are answered. She offers great insight into their conditions and empowers patients with knowledge that will enable them to understand and participate in their own healing process.

Barbara attended Chinese Medicine Institute, studying under world-renowned Acupuncture Physicians, and became a diplomate in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002. After completing an intensive two year internship at the Wellness Institute, she received a certification for Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy and in 2017, obtained a certification in Transpersonal Life Coaching. In 2021, she studied under Simone Schlafhorst from Germany and obtained a certification, becoming the first NeuroTango Practitioner in the United States. She was in private practice in Miami, FL. for 20 years and in 2023 relocated to Naples, FL. She specializes in pain management, stress and anxiety disorders as well as fertility, chronic digestive and auto-immune disorders. She also teaches NeuroTango classes to patients who suffer from Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological disorders.

Barbara was featured on Radio Actualidad 1020AM as a guest speaker for alternative medicine and is an expert lecturer on Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine for the University of Miami. She is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders and is a Community Care provider for the VA.
